Mikkel Kessler Defends Super Middleweight Title This Saturday in Germany

This Saturday in Oldenburg, Germany, Mikkel Kessler, 40-1, 30 KO’s, the WBA Super Middleweight Champion, will defend his title against the former European Super Middleweight Champion, Danilo Haussler, 29-3-1, 7 KO’s.

Kessler, who is coming off a 12-round TKO over Dimitri Sartison this June, stated that Danilo Haussler is physically strong, but he has advantages when it comes down to reach and footwork.

For Haussler, this bout is a great opportunity that he wants to seize as he expressed his determination of performing at his best on Saturday.

In the co-main event, the newly crowned European Cruiserweight Champion Marco Huck, 22-1, 17 KO’s, will defend his title against Fabio Tuiach, 22-1, 14 KO’s, of Italy.

Also on the card, Alexander Abraham, 22-0-1, 15 KO’s, and Roman Dzuman, 23-5-1, 10 KO’s, will meet for the vacant EBU-EE Light Middleweight Championship, female welterweight Cecilia Braekhus, 9-0, 2 KO’s, will take on Borislava Goranova, 4-24-1, of Bulgaria and light middleweight Koko Murat, 8-0-1, 4 KO’s, will meet Abdelouahed Ben Lelly, 6-4, 2 KO’s.
